Kolikamale (Kolikallu Male / Kukkuta Shikhara) is approachable from Peraje in Sullia district of Karnataka. Since the place is very remote, a Jeep has to be hired at Sullia with a guide. The trek starts from the foothills of Kolikamale and the peak is at a distance of 4 Kms. Trekking, though moderate level, is large in a relatively thick forest.
