Chunchanakatte is some 10 Kms from K R Nagar and 55Kms from Mysore. River Kaveri takes a gradual jump down the boulders making enormous sound. There is a Rameshwara temple just by the side. Inside the temple when there is no pilgrims, it will be a pi-drop-silence, despite of the roar created by water fall filling the entire surrounding.
In K R Nagar, one can visit famous Arkeshwara Temple dating back to the Hoysala Era.
