Charmadi ghat is a section of Western
ghat hill ranges in western Karnataka near Sakleshpur. Home to some of the
spectacular peaks and waterfalls, this section is where river Nethravathi
originates. Mudigere is the nearest town well connected by road. Lodges are
available here and homestays are available around. Ujire and Dharmasthala below
in the west coast, Kalasa, Horanadu, Kudremukh and Shringeri to the north, Chikmagalur
and Basrikatte to east and Hassan, Sakleshpur to the south - are the nearby attractions.
