Meruthi Parvatha a scenic hill near Basri Katte offers a panoramic view of Western Ghat ranges near Horanadu and Sringeri. Basrikatte is some 55kms from Sringeri on the road to Horanadu.
Its a 4kms trek to the peak and there is a Tata Tea estate at the entrance. Permission to enter is usually available on arrival.
