Pandavara Betta

Pandavara Betta is in Maragunda a best place to view sunrise and sunset.  The initial hiking leads to a smaller hill. Further ahead is another peak which is a vantage point for an awesome panorama of surrounding Western Ghat ranges. Also, the breathtaking view of distant sunrise and sunset from this peak is one of the best. From here one can trek to Deepadakallu and Jenukallu peaks which are clearly visible at a little distance.
Maragunda is 30 kms drive from Sakleshpura.  Reach it via Sakleshpur - Hanubalu - Devaladakere. The road leads to a century old temple called Betta Bhyreshwara Temple. From the temple, the peak is a 2 kms uphill trekking.
