Ettinabhuja Peak

Ettinabhuja Peak is near Betta Byreshwara Temple, Bhyrapura in Mudigere, near Sakleshpur. Reaching the mountain involves a moderate trekking but reaching the peak would be a strenuous half an hour ordeal, climbing the rocky mountain.

Best time to visit is soon after monsoon. During monsoon even the foothills will be cloud covered. 

The temple is around 25kms from Mudigere, via Billur cross. From Sakleshpur it is around 40 kms via Hanubalu. 

Maragunda

Maragunda is a small village near Mudigere and there is a temple dedicated to Bettada Byreshwara which is 150 years old. There is a small peak just behind the temple which can be reached by an easy trekking for 2kms.the view from the top is breathtaking and It offers surrounding hills of Ettinabhuja, Jenukallu and Deepadakallu region.

Peraje, Heaven on Earth

Peraje is nestled between Madikeri (Coorg), Bhagamandala (Talakaveri), Panathur (Karike), Sullia (Sullya) and the great Kukke Subrahmanya. In other words it is encircled by mighty Western Ghat and some of the greatest peaks dotted around here are - Madikeri ranges, Talakaveri ranges, hills of Panathur (Karike) and Kumaraparvatha of Kukke Subrahmanya.
