Maragunda is a small village near Mudigere and there is a
temple dedicated to Bettada Byreshwara which is 150 years old. There is a small
peak just behind the temple which can be reached by an easy trekking for 2kms.the
view from the top is breathtaking and It offers surrounding hills of Ettinabhuja,
Jenukallu and Deepadakallu region.
