Chelavara Peak is also called Chomakund is near Virajpet
of Madikeri (Coorg).
From Madikeri it is around 30 Kms via Napoklu, Kakkabe and
Chelavara falls. The trek involves an uphill walk on the steep trail for around
2 Kms. Alternatively, there is a smaller hill opposite to it which offers mesmerizing
hill range view. This also involves 2 kms uphill trek, but, on a jeep trail,
relatively easy.
