Kotebetta is a great hill in the Western Ghat Ranges of
Madikeri. We started at 4.00pm on 26th December 2015 from Coorg. At Madapura
took a left turn towards Garvale and Surlabi. Kote Betta is around 5 Kms from
Garvale to the left.
There is a cave temple at the foothills. It took only 45
mins to reach and we were waiting for the sunset.
There is a small hillock near the temple which we chose for
watching the sun set behind the majestic Mandalpatti hill ranges.
