Chikkamagalur is a place which encompasses everything mother nature can offer. Peaks, forests, waterfalls and what not! It is as much land of coffee and tea plantation as Temples. Mullayyanagiri and Seethalayyanagiri are the main peaks which are adjuscent to each other. Mullayyanagiri the highest peak in Karnataka. Kemmannugundi, Bababudan Giri and Devirammana Betta are the other peaks which attract thousands of trekkers. Hebbe and Manikyadhara are the major waterfalls. Belur, Halebid and Belavadi are famous for ancient temples built in Hoysala era.
